Community Conversations to Weigh the Benefits and Risks of Expanded Legal Gambling In NHLike many states, New Hampshire faces some tough economic choices in the years ahead. One of these issues is whether to expand legalized gambling in New Hampshire.
On February 13th, 2010, you as a NH citizen will have the opportunity to participate in community-based deliberations across the state to address the question: What’s At Stake: Community Conversations to Weigh the Benefits and Risks of Expanded Legal Gambling in NH. The Portsmouth meeting will be held from 9 am – 4 pm at the Portsmouth High School Cafeteria. Anyone is welcome to join in. Here is a chance to make your voice heard and to make a difference in the future of your state.
The results of the community conversations will be presented to the Governor’s Study Commission on Expanded Gaming in New Hampshire later this spring
