Portsmouth City Council is a non-partisan position. As such it is not the place for the Republican City Committee to promote specific candidates, who may or may not be Republican.

However, we do have an interest in who gets elected, and we do want to help candidates who lean conservative even if those candidates are Democrats– we just want the best people of those running.

We have created an independent group of concerned citizens and we’ll be meeting the house of Alan and Christine this Sunday afternoon starting at 4:30. The weather is expected to be beautiful so we plan to start the meeting out in the backyard. Please bring a lawn chair.
