The Portsmouth Republican Party unequivocally condemns the horrific attacks in Boulder CO committed by Ahmad Al Aliwi Al Issa resulting in 10 fatalities, and in Atlanta committed by Robert Aaron Long resulting in 8 fatalities.  These abhorrent criminal acts are unacceptable and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.  

These events reinforce the importance of our long-standing belief in the founders’ vision that all people have a right to be treated equally under the law and have a natural right to defend themselves from oppression and violence directed at them for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other reason.     Liberty is for everyone.

We express our solidarity with the victims and their families, especially those of Asian descent who were particularly affected.   Our deepest condolences to everyone affected by these tragedies.
