In remembrance of one of America’s greatest presidents, Ronald Reagan, a celebration of his life will be held on February 5, 2010, at 6PM, at the gorgeous Great Bay Gallery, in Somersworth. All proceeds with go to charities serving the people of Haiti.
The event will feature several presentations in honor of President Reagan:
Opening Song: National Anthem – Lakes Region Opera Company
The Wit of Ronald Reagan – 7 minutes
One of Ronald Reagan’s Greatest Speeches – “A Time for Choosing” – 20 minutes
Song: Battle Hymn of the Republic (one of the Gipper’s favorites) – Lake Region Opera Company
The singing of Happy Birthday (off-key by most)- Birthday Cake
Cost: Suggested donation is $20.00 (pp -$35.00 per couple) – All proceeds will be donated to key charities helping with the Haitian earthquake relief efforts. Admission includes food and a door prize ticket (additional tickets available for purchase).
Food and bar: Food is included with admission; a cash bar will be open throughout the evening.

Candidates:
Candidates running for Governor, Congress, and Senate will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves and quickly address the gathering. Those running for other important offices will be introduced. All candidates are encourage to promote the event (whether they will be attending or not), and each candidate will have an area to display their handouts.
